About the University of Notre Dame Australia
The University of Notre Dame Australia is a private Catholic university, established in Western Australia in 1989 with early support from the University of Notre Dame in the United States. It is open to students of any faith and teaches in a Catholic tradition, with an emphasis on ethics and pastoral care.
Its founding and largest campus is in Fremantle, where it restored a group of heritage buildings in the old West End and so helped turn the port town into a university precinct. In Sydney it has a campus at Broadway, on the Blackfriars site, and a medical site at Darlinghurst. A regional campus at Broome in the Kimberley is its only one outside a state capital. Notre Dame is known for health, medicine, nursing and physiotherapy, education, law and business, and it is one of few Australian universities with major campuses on both the east and west coasts.

Ranks as published; bands such as 301–350 are not exact places, and "=" marks a tie. "In Australia" is the position among Australian universities in the same edition; universities sharing a band or a tie share a position. Each ranking measures different things, mostly research, and none of them is combined here. *Our copy of QS 2027 covers ranks 1–300 only.
